After some extensive work by koshi and I, we have managed to export all data from phpBB3 to SimplePress. SimplePress integrates directly with the WordPress engine and allows for much more site interactivity. Moreover, users who sign into the site via the join site button (on the right, and spread throughout the site) can now make forum posts without having to go through the entire registration process.
As I mentioned before, the join site button will allow you to login to this site using your google account, yahoo account, AOL account, and many others.
